What we do with your information.

We collect as little as possible, use it only to do what you asked, and never sell it.

Who we are

Likmabam Bino Devi Foundation is a Section 8 non-profit company registered in India (CIN U85300DL2022NPL397982), operating primarily in Thoubal district, Manipur. For any question about this policy, write to foundationlikmabambinodevi@gmail.com.

What we collect

We only hold information you choose to give us. There is no account system on this site, no advertising network, and no third-party tracking pixels.

  • Contact and volunteer forms: your name, email address, chosen subject and the message you write.
  • Donations: the name, contact details and PAN you provide so that we can issue a receipt and comply with Indian tax law.
  • Server logs: standard web request information such as IP address, browser type and page requested, retained by our hosting provider for security and diagnostics.

Why we hold it

  • To reply to you, and to follow up on a volunteering or partnership offer.
  • To issue donation receipts and meet our obligations under the Income Tax Act, 1961 and the Companies Act, 2013.
  • To keep the site secure and working.

What we never do

  • We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone.
  • We do not use your information to build advertising profiles.
  • We do not add you to a mailing list because you donated or wrote to us. If we start a newsletter, you will have to ask for it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept only as long as needed to deal with them and for our own records. Donation records are retained for the period required by Indian tax and company law, which is currently eight years from the end of the relevant financial year.

Photographs of people

Many of the photographs on this site show participants in our programmes, including children. They are published to document our work honestly. If you appear in a photograph, or are the parent or guardian of a child who does, and would like it removed, write to us and we will take it down without asking for a reason.

Your rights

You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted where we are not required by law to retain it. Write to foundationlikmabambinodevi@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable period.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes affecting donors will also be communicated directly.
