Sport and skill development sit beside education in our registered objects, and for good reason. In a region that has seen displacement and unrest, an annual sports meet is not a diversion; it is a reason for a whole village to turn up in the same place.

How it works
We support annual sports meets and the rallies that open them, working with schools across Thoubal to make sure the smallest schools are not left out of the district calendar.
Cultural programmes (Teachers' Day celebrations, traditional dance and song performances, community ceremonies) are run with the same seriousness. Manipur's performing traditions are taught young, on stage, in front of the people who will keep them going.
Everything in this programme is deliberately public. Peace and tolerance through education and mass communication is written into our objects; a shared stage is one of the few places that actually happens.
